Happy Monday!

It’s a new week and a new chance for you to work towards your health and fitness goals. For the past month, I’ve been focusing on making healthy meals and snacks readily available so that I don’t get tempted to deviate from my clean eating plan. In addition to meal prepping lunch and dinner, I have also added protein shakes into the mix. They are filling and most importantly super easy to make.

Today I wanted to share my absolute favorite protein shake recipe- a delicious banana chocolate peanut butter smoothie! (adding peanut butter is totally optional, but it is a yummy addition!)

Ingredients:
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk*
1/2 of water *
2 scoops of Orgain Creamy Chocolate Fudge Protein Powder (I’ve tried a ton protein shakes in the past and I finally stumbled on one that is packed with protein AND tastes delicious.)

1 tablespoon of peanut butter (I use an all-natural peanut butter. You can also use almond or cashew butter as well)

*you can add more water or almond milk if the shake is too rich for you
Simply add all of the ingredients into your blender and blend until smooth. Viola! You’ve got a super yummy protein shake that is perfect for an after workout snack or meal. If your not a fan of nut butter, you can leave it out. Without it, the protein shake tastes very similar to a chocolate frosty from Wendy’s! 😋

If you try this recipe, let me know! I’d love to hear your thoughts. You can purchase the protein shake here.
